Stratford On Avon District Council

Think of Stratford upon Avon and you have to think of the great bard that is William Shakespeare. The once small medieval market town is now a homage to the man that some say is the greatest writer of all time. The town is now a hugely popular tourist destination owing to this connection and it receives well over two million visitors a year.

You might think that these visitors all need housing so keen is the Council to build more houses. Yet another district that suffers from the absurdly wrong population figures and therefore housing numbers – which we dispute. The district also has much of the most beautiful landscapes of the county and its three highest peaks, Brailles, South and Ebrington Hills.
