CPRE Warwickshire has existed for almost 70 years, and volunteers have been at the heart of our successes. Every volunteer makes a difference to the countryside that we are so passionate about and we value their contribution enormously. With your support we can achieve even more.

Volunteer with CPRE Warwickshire

Whether you appreciate the rolling hills around Burton Dassett or you prefer your landscape flatter like it is around the Grand Union canal near Stockton we are passionate about enhancing the countryside in Warwickshire to make it a better place for everyone to live, work and enjoy. We value the contribution of our volunteers enormously and with your support, we can achieve even more.

By volunteering with us you’ll be part of a friendly team of like-minded people. You’ll gain new skills and we’ll give you the training you may need for your volunteering role. You can join in with our social events, attend workshops and take part in our annual national conference.

Our volunteers support us in many ways including fundraising, providing specialist advice, governance, investigating proposed planning developments, managing our social media and website and much more! You can read about what it’s like to volunteer with us at the bottom of this page/on the CPRE website.

Further information

We want to give you a first-class experience when you volunteer with us and our online volunteering hub Assemble is the one-stop place for all your volunteering information. CPRE Warwickshire has been chosen to be one of the first of the county branches to adopt the ‘Assemble’ volunteer administration system. Designed to help us better recruit, communicate with and support our volunteers, we hope that it will make your work with us a more enjoyable and fulfilling experience. So look out for more about this new system and Warwickshire’s work with it.

You can apply for an opportunity using an easy online form and you can track your application every step of the way.

Volunteers’ Week

The first week of June each year is Volunteers’ Week. It is a celebration of the wonderful contribution people make through volunteering.

And we in Warwickshire wanted to say, HUGE THANKS to all our volunteers: we would be lost without you!
