Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council unsurprisingly is made up of the towns of Nuneaton and Bedworth, along with the large village of Bulkington and the green belt land in between. It has a population of around 129,000.
Nuneaton, once a small hamlet recorded in the Domesday survey, in the north west of the county on the edge of Warwickshire’s coalfields. Both towns and most villages have grown extraordinarily and we have our hands full to protect the Borough’s precious green belt. Nuneaton is famous for its association with George Eliot.
