Visit to Stanway House and Gardens

We have arranged for two tours for our members and their guests to visit Stanway House, a beautiful example of a Jacobean Manor house and the gardens with its famous 300 feet high single jet fountain (the highest in Britain) on Tuesday 22nd August and Tuesday 29th August. The tour of the house starts at 11.00 am and takes about an hour and a half. You will then be free to wander through the gardens and have a picnic if the weather permits. The alternative is adjourning to the Mount public house nearby or to Broadway with its many cafes, bars and restaurants.

There is a café in the grounds that opens at 2.00 pm, serving tea, coffee and cakes – so that’s afternoon tea sorted!
