North Warwickshire Borough Council

North Warwickshire Borough Council can be said to be the Council at the heart of England, though as its name suggests is in the far north of the county bordering Staffordshire and Leicestershire.

The main town in the district is Atherstone, an industrial and market town. North Warwickshire is a mostly rural area with small towns and villages.

The area historically had a large coal mining industry, but this has now entirely died out. The county has restful rolling countryside – a hidden gem!
